Country Fare is an award-winning family business based on a working farm in the Mallerstang Valley, Cumbria. Surrounded by stunning scenery, we make delicious, hand-made produce using only the finest ingredients including free-range eggs, local butter and milk.

All our handmade Fruit Cakes are based on two family recipes including the Rich Fruit Cake which has a very high fruit content. these cakes are hand fed  with alcohol to create a very moist texture and a delicious flavor. The results speak for themselves, with 27 'Great Taste Awards' over the last six years.
